Holiday Inn Resort Oceanfront @ Surfside Beach by IHG

I can’t say enough about our experience with our server for the breakfast. Annette Terri went over and beyond for us. I have two small children so if you’re a parent you know how important and helpful it is to have a great experience with a server. Food was yummy, happy kids happy mommy! She was super nice and fast! Thank u so much Annette if you are reading this! Also when checking in Michelle was the BEST! Clean rooms, beautiful view.

We have enjoyed everything about this IGH property in Surfside Beach, SC. The ocean front room has a spectacular view of the Atlantic! Our breakfast option was a win. Great food and the service is excellent. The staff has been fantastic with anything we asked of them. Our TV had to be switched out and they promptly sent a new one to our room. We plan to return again.

We actually stayed April 10 - April 15 on two reservations. The Bad: Night one, we arrived late & tired due to travel from California. We found long black hairs and sand on the sheets in our bed. Along with this, brown stains on one side of the sheet. Obviously, not a good start & very little sleep for us. House keeping was sporadic at best. Some days, no service at all requiring us to have the front desk bring toilet paper and towels up late in the evening. We would place dirty towels outside just to get rid of them. These things lead us to believe cleanliness and overall guest health & safety of this property is not a priority. The Good: The front desk staff was friendly, helpful & while they did not exhibit a concern about the hair, sand & stains on our sheet they did make a differe

The front desk concierge provided exceptional service; unfortunately, I did not obtain his name, but his energy at 9 p.m. was impressive. Conversely, the room quality was subpar, featuring unclean stains on the flat sheet and duvet. I requested alternative accommodations, but regrettably, none would be available until the following day. My husband had organized this weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday, and I was exceedingly disappointed with the room; nonetheless, I still managed to enjoy my stay.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Resort Surfside Beach was made memorable thanks to the exceptional hospitality of Annette and Terri at the Lobby Bar. From the moment we sat down, they were incredibly attentive and inviting. It wasn’t just about the service, we shared genuine laughs and great conversation that made our day. What really touched us was how they thoughtfully offered to take photos of us so we could both be in the frame—now we have beautiful memories to look back on. Management should be proud to have such a professional and personable team representing this resort. If you’re visiting Surfside, look for them at the Lobby Bar.
