Holiday Inn Orlando-International Airport by IHG

Stayed one night at Holiday Inn Orlando Airport through GoPort for a pre-cruise stay with round-trip transfers to the MSC Port Canaveral. The location is convenient, with a 24-hour Denny’s across the street. The lobby was inviting and the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when we needed to change rooms.||Our first room had a musty odor, and while the second room was better, the hotel overall feels due for updates. The carpets appear worn and contribute to lingering smells, and we found wrappers and stains on the bedding and a clogged sink with disgusting hair and other residue which was disappointing. The shower had very low water pressure, and the shower head was worn, which was disappointing.

The room was comfortable, spacious, and very clean. The bathroom was in excellent condition, and the beds were very comfortable, which allowed us to rest well. Despite the hotel being close to the airport, I did not experience any issues with airplane noise. The lobby offers a breakfast buffet for $17.99 per person. The price is very reasonable, and the food is just as good. They offer scrambled eggs, breakfast burritos, waffles or French toast, bread, bacon, sausage, potatoes, a variety of cereals, oatmeal, muffins, croissants, fresh fruit, and many other options. There was something for everyone. We also used the shuttle service to and from the hotel and had no issues at all. Everything went smoothly. The hotel provided a convenient shuttle from the airport. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Only disappointment was the coffee purchased in the café. $5.50 for a drip coffee with creamer packets. We like real cream! Had lunch at the bar after checking out. Liliana was our server. She was delightful and took good care of us. We enjoyed the schwarma steak pita at her recommendation-- generous portion would have served us both!

A very clean and satisfying stay— my mother and I were staying one night before transferring to a different hotel nearer to Disney. This is an ideal location for the airport but still very quiet. There is a small gym— definitely needs some new equipment as there weren’t many weights lower than 30lbs— and a pool. The breakfast was fine- I appreciated they had hard boiled eggs and chobani yogurt. The room was comfortable with Dove products and nice bedding. The only issue we had was the room we were provided on arrival wasn’t ready when we went up to enter. A very nice member of the cleaning staff offered to go down to the desk to sort it out and get us a key to a room that was ready. Unfortunately whoever printed the keys didn’t realize that the room type they changed us to was 1 king inste

I'm not one to write reviews typicaly but I think I need to for others. I would not recommend this hotel at all. The room was okay, the bed looked like it was made by a blind person. The shower had a gross film on it that you could feel on your feet, the toilet wouldnt flush properly and you had to take the lid off to keep it from running the water all night. The parking is costly at 20 dollars a night. Didn't find out until we had a ticket on the windshield. No included breakfast. Our cards didnt work for the second night we stayed and had to go back down stairs to get it to work. Overall pretty bad experience. I would recommend the Marriot over this. Hope this helps.
