Holiday Inn Orlando East - Ucf Area, an IHG Hotel

Stayed here for a work trip, this is a really nice hotel, very clean, comfortable and most importantly, quiet in the rooms. They are undergoing renovations, but it didn’t impact the stay negatively. The grab and go breakfast option is super convenient and the food is high quality. Also, love the pool on site and the bar/restaurant. The gym was spacious and well maintained with a variety of equipment. The staff and management were all delightful. Will gladly stay here again!

The hotel itself is average. Very humid inside the hotel due to recently changing windows apparently. Our entire stay was saved by the staff who are AWESOME. The breakfast server Shaleeza Rios was fabulous. She was so warm and kind. She really brightened our morning. She knows exactly when to serve and chat and when to back off and give you space. We really enjoyed her conversation and company. She was such a professional. The breakfast menu was excellent and the food and coffee was too. Thank you Shaleeza for making our trip awesome. We would also like to highlight the nighttime bartender Matt. We were so impressed by his humor and kindness. Good luck with all your endeavors at UCF, Matt! Thanks for a great stay.

I’ve stayed at this Holiday Inn East near UCF several times, and it’s one of my go-to spots when I just want to get away and relax for a bit. The rooms are cozy, clean, and comfortable, especially during the fall and winter. I love the natural sunlight that comes through the window during the day—it makes the room feel warm and peaceful. They have a nice little restaurant downstairs with a good food selection, and the breakfast is always solid. The servers have been friendly, and I’ve never had a bad experience with any of the front desk staff. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been pleasant and helpful. Positive: hotel is very clean up to date. feels upscale. Negative: a LOT of construction in the parking lot entry road closed. very difficult to access and of course with the closures and construction GPS maps just lead you in the wrong direction repeatedly. Some help or DISCOUNT would be nice to offset the inconvenience

I had an excellent experience at this Holiday Inn during my stay in the Orlando East / UCF area. I initially made an error when booking my reservation, and despite the hotel being fully booked, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my family and ensure we had a place to stay for the duration of our visit. A special thank you to Tameka and Krysta at the front desk for their professionalism, patience, and willingness to help—they truly made a stressful situation seamless. The service didn’t stop there—Min provided outstanding service at the restaurant and made our dining experience even better with her attentiveness and kindness.
