Holiday Inn Harrisburg East by IHG

im disappointed honestly terrible. my significant other booked a room and we called for extra towels and nobody came. ON TOP of that.. when we went to leave the next day we dropped something behind the bed and when i looked back there SOMEONES CLOTHES WERE BEHIND THE BED!!!! makes me wonder was the bed even cleaned properly? IM UPSET. I WANT a refund. like are you serious???? that’s disgusting.

I come to the area regularly. Decided to give this property a try. It was interesting to say the least. ||1. Properties looks and feels like the last renovation was in the 80’s. Dated. Run down. ||2. Only one of two elevators working. Waiting five minutes for an elevator during the day because it was being used by housekeeping (no service elevators)||3. Furniture in rooms is old, worn out. Uncomfortable. ||4. Curtains had dark spots all over them. Could not tell if it was dirt, mild, or something else. ||5. Dead insects in the room at the hearing units and on some of the drapes. Two large and very alive spiders living on the ceiling of the room. ||6. Walls had scuff marks all over the place and had obviously patched holes. ||7. We had been traveling a few days. We were tired. This hotel had a bar and food and a wonderful guy at the bar. It was relaxing, the food was good, and the cold beer was great!! Thanks for a really nice stay, and we got to wind down, calm down, relax and get a great nights sleep and not have to move from our hotel. Perfect!!!

This place is very dirty. We left the next morning and went to a different hotel. Trying to get refunded your money is nearly impossable. There is no pool. Thats a lie been down over a year now but their ad dosent say that. You get charged $13.99 for each breakfast. And the bar is hardly ever open. DONT GO HERE!

We came here to stay before traveling out of Harrisburg airport. The airport shuttle is out of service without any notice, the hotel restaurant/bar was closed without any notice, and the pool was out of service. When I checked in they gave me a key to a room that was not cleaned and had to ask for a different room. Only reason I am giving them one star is because I cannot give them 0 stars. Stay away from this hotel as much as possible. Spend the extra few bucks at a different hotel.
