Comfort Inn & Suites - Harrisburg Airport - Hershey South

At first, I was annoyed because I waited for the airport shuttle to get me to the hotel for quite a while, but then realized that the girl working in the front desk was also driving the shuttle. She apparently was working all alone and she handled things quite well considering!! Overall the location near the airport was extremely convenient and was nice to be close to a Wawa 😁. The rooms were nice and I appreciative the walk-in type showers (I sometimes have difficulty with regular tubs). The continental breakfast had plenty to offer…. Maybe not five star type food, but definitely did the trick. The breakfast attendant did an excellent job. Listening to the construction at 7 AM on Saturday morning it wasn’t my favorite, but I know that’s all my temporary. Overall, this place is definite

Pros: very spacious room clean decent breakfast fairly up to date Cons: came specifically for pool but even 10 year olds who don’t normally mind cooler weather could not swim. It was freezing! I had called ahead to make sure pool was in good order. Even asked before we checked in to make sure the pool was open and nothing was mentioned about how freezing cold this pool is. Looking back at other reviews this seems to be a common theme. No maintenance person over the weekend so no turning up the heat. Cannot imagine anyone would want to swim in that pool. Can not sleep on microfiber sheets. Usually stay at Marriott where the sheets are cotton. Granddaughters slept fine but I was unable to sleep well. Cannot stay with Choice again if this is the

It was a very pleasant stay, however, we did have issues with the heat/air. It worked itself out and were told we could be moved but it wasnt necessary. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good and the location is great. We would stay again.

This was a fantastic stay. The building was really nice, and our room was spacious and new. Staff was gracious and helpful; breakfast was very good; we were able to leave our car and be driven to the airport by the hotel van for a reasonable cost which saved us a ton of time… this experience left us wondering why we have been going to Pittsburgh airport instead of Harrisburg!

We stayed overnight here before our flight and chose to leave our car at the hotel. When we called for the shuttle upon our return we were told they could not pick us up. They basically stranded us and we were forced to take a very expensive Uber to retrieve our vehicle. The hotel knew what day we were returning and should have called us ahead of time to tell us that they could not honor their commitment. They seemed to have no problem keeping the money we had paid them.
