Holiday Inn Express Washington DC - Bw Parkway by IHG

I have stayed at this hotel for YEARS! I loved it cause it was close and clean. Welp all that is ruined. The hotel has roaches!!! We stayed in room 507 roach infested. They moved us to 323 cause we had no way to get to another hotel and that room seemed fine but I would never stay here again. It’s not worth the risk of bringing roaches back to your own home. Long time veteran of this hotel and IHG regular and this hotel has lost my business. There’s no way they don’t know the hotel is infested with roaches. Do something about it. Shut the place down and bomb it. Also, never got any sort of compensation or discount.

Me and my wife stayed here for our wedding weekend as we found a very good rate. The hotel and room were clean, and everything was just right. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The reservation clerk Cindy (I believe that was her name) went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay.

Positive: Clean environment, ĝood breakfast, good location Negative: Staff person did not deduct $50 às promised, àñd she d ìd not email my payment receipt to me as promised.

When you turn into this property from the road, you may be met with a curb. For some reason the curb makes this big curve inwards and theres barely enough room for 2 cars to enter/exit at the same time. A car was exiting and was more in the middle of the driveway, so when I turned in, I hit the curb. ANyways, everything else was fine. Smooth and friendly check in. My room had this long hallway into the main area. The room has NO closet and NO hangers, so I couldn't hang up my dress shirt/slacks. The heat, no matter what temperature I set it at, went on and off a lot. COmputer hair was very adjustable, WiFi had good upload and download speed. Bed and pillows were comfy. Shower was nice and warm, but the drain was very slow to drain (I did report this when I checked out). The complimentary b

My family had to evacuate our home at 4 in the morning due to an emergency. They were able to accommodate us even thou it was a busy weekend with a lot of people wanting to see the football game. The room was clean. However a there was a issue with our room. But the staff was very kind and gave us a new room no problems. The staff were very kind and the hotel quite nice.
