Holiday Inn Express & Suites West Coxsackie by IHG

Holiday inn express is one of my favorite chains to use for reliability, cleanliness, and level of service. Everyone has a rough time once in a while, main reason I come here is for home away from home while I work. This place is fairly clean, and the staff did their best. After a 9 hour drive I was looking forward to getting into the hot tub to relax my back. 4 day stay, the hot tub amd pool were out of service for maintenance. This is important to me as hotels dont jave tubs anymore, just showers. I really wanted to soak my body after work and the long drive. Staff had no clue what was wrong with the pool or when it would be back up and running. Come to find out when I called to book and asked if they had a pool and hot tub it wasn't working. I guess its my fault for not asking if it was

I was so happy when I saw this place! It was about half an hour outside Albany (by car) and was set in a really beautiful area with lots of trees and wild space. My checkin was flawless and I was treated like a Queen. The person acknowledged that I was a member and that's never happened to me at any of my other stays. My room was huge, comfortable and so wonderful respite after a horrible travel schedule. The staff were friendly and more than willing to help or answer questions. I was impressed at how the manager(s) were at addressing any kind of issues or needs. Would highly recommend this place and in fact, I now wish I had booked a couple of nights there. Keep up the good work!

I recently stayed at a Holiday Inn and had a very pleasant experience. From check-in to check-out, the staff was welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with any questions or needs. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and I appreciated the option of both firm and soft pillows. The on-site facilities, including the dining options and fitness center, were convenient and added to the overall experience. Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh and tasty options, and the dining area was clean and well-organized. Our stay overall was good, warm rooms, hot shower, clean linens. The location is a bit isolated so food options are limited in the area from what we could see. The parking lot was not plowed well so it was difficult to see where to park. The morning of our departure we grabbed some coffee at the complimentary breakfast and some muffins before heading out. The muffins turned out to be very moldy. They need to inspect the food being offered better. Had my daughter opened the muffins first she may have eaten it without looking.

Ethan at the front desk made our stay!! He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous and took care of any minor issues during our day. I usually don’t leave reviews unless I feel they are warranted. Our room was exactly what you need., if you are looking for clean rooms and beds were extra comfy.
