Holiday Inn Express & Suites Wausau by IHG

I have, over the past 10 years, stayed at several hotels in the Wausau area. I can honestly say that the Holiday Inn Express Weston WI is without any doubt the best of them all. The Hotel is always very clean and inviting with a friendly atmosphere. Heidi (the desk clerk) not only recognized me as a Platinum member, she also remembered me as a person from a discussion we had the last time I stayed here. I wish my memory was as good as hers! The entire staff at the Holiday Inn Express Weston WI is equal to any of the 5 star hotels I have stayed at in my travels. I can say in all honesty that from this day forward, when I stay in the Wausau area I will only be staying at the Holiday Inn Express Weston WI. We stayed at this hotel so our little ones could swim without having to hold them the whole time. The cousins had great fun playing in the little zero degree entry pool, going on the slide, and just having a great time playing with cousins. The rooms were nice, comfortable beds, enough space for kids to play with toys in the living area. Breakfast was good and had an array of choices from oatmeal to cereal to the super fun pancake machine and the traditional yogurt, milk, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. The dining area overlooked the pool and had very comfortable seating. Staff were friendly and helpful-especially since the Holiday Inn website mixed up our reservation with the Rothschild location bs Weston. The staff quickly and seamlessly fixed our reservation at the correct hotel

Very clean room and facilities. Newer Bathroom, nice pool area with fitness facilities. Traditional Holiday inn complementary breakfast. My two nights were very quiet and relaxing. This is the second time I’ve stayed here and will definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

The staff was very accommodating. There was an initial issue with room design different than what showed online, but they found us a new room right away that met our expectations and followed up to make sure everything was good. The pool area has a nice dry sauna and a relaxing hot tub and the pool was kept at just the right temperature to be refreshing and relaxing. There was a kiddie pool area that was nice but had a very rough texture that ended up injuring my daughter's foot after sliding down the frog slide, but she was tough and wouldn't let that ruin her fun! There is also a free coffee bar that brews fresh coffee 24 hours a day! Very nice touch!

This hotel is so clean and well run! We have stayed here multiple years and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The kids love the indoor pool, breakfast is far better than average, and everything is always clean. Love it!
