Holiday Inn Express & Suites Van Buren-Ft Smith Area by IHG

The room was ok but the breakfast area smelled mildewy. Breakfast is supposed to go till 9:30 but by8:50 the potatoes were not being refilled nor the sausage. The pancake machine made tiny pancakes. No buscuits no boiled eggs. But the trays not being refilled was the worst. We were not the last people to come for breakfast. Several other families came after us.

From the moment I arrived til I checked out was wonderful. |The lobby was clean and Inviting and I was welcomed by a very nice lady. |My room was clean ( everywhere I checked). Lol. |I walked the hotel over and there were laundry rooms, very clean pool area, and small gym. |Breakfast was served each morning and was good. |Property was clean and maintained. |I'd stay here again if I were to be up there to stay. |If you get bored there is a movie theater next door and dining not far down the road.

I really enjoyed the modern feel of this hotel. Everything is new/updated. The rooms are exceptionally large. I did feel like they could have cleaned a little better. There were strange marks/stains on the bathroom floor. Also, it was difficult to swim after dark because the pool room had minimal lighting. Lastly, I would recommend that the management consider removing or moving the large decorative rocks out in the parking area. My in-laws came to visit us at the hotel and their car door was damaged by a low sitting boulder/rock that was positioned right next to the parking space, just out of their sight.

Came here on a work trip for an event with my team! Great customer service, decent rooms, and Connor was truly just amazing at the front desk! He was so kind and accommodating to me and my team! It is so hard to find quality customer service nowadays. He is a true gem, and my team when in the area serving schools again will definitely be booking this Holiday Inn again!

Definitely overcharging for rooms. On google the rooms were listed at $107 a night. I was charged $171 for one night plus a $50 pet. The pet fee was $25 more than the night before when we stayed in a Holiday Inn Express in New Mexico. The one here in Arkansas, stated they do not do complimentary water for members either when I got my complimentary water at the one in New Mexico. The bathroom towels looked like they were just taken off the floor and loosely folded and put up. Found what looked very much like a pube hair folded into a wash cloth that was hanging, luckily I was using that towel to try see if I could clean an existing stain of the floor. The pillow and sheets didn’t smell washed. The water tasted like there was Clorox in it, which I honestly don’t mind, because it smelled clea
