Comfort Inn & Suites Van Buren-Fort Smith

A nice hotel for a stopover on our way to OKC. The room was large and very nice. The bathroom had a tiled, curved shower instead of a tub which I've never seen with Choice Hotels. It was nice! The only downside was that our room had no carpet (presumably because we were traveling with a pet) so everything echoed a lot. That was a little frustrating because we didn't want to disturb any neighbors just by talking or watching TV. Otherwise, great hotel for the price! I would definitely stay here again.

It's ok if you happen to be in the area. It is clean, though the rooms are a bit dated. Nowhere to plug in a USB charger...you'll have to have a power block. Shower was nice and big but made me wonder how clean it actually was since it is brown tile.

We had to travel to Oklahoma from Florida, and we had stayed in numerous Holiday Inn & Hampton Inns, and this was the BEST Hotel. The staff was extremely friendly & attentive to details, the place was also extremely clean, and the bed was the Best out of all the hotels, and it was the first time we woke up on this trip, that our backs didn’t hurt. |So do I recommend this Hotel, Absolutely and you will enjoy your stay! Great job to the staff & manager at this hotel and wish there were more choice hotels along our trip. Great Job!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool area seemed to be well looked after. Having a partisan news network blaring while trying to eat breakfast was pretty annoying, though (it doesn't matter which one. They're all annoying when trying to eat and have a conversation.) We were the only people in the dining area so I muted the TV but an employee came by a couple minutes later and unmuted it. Next time we're traveling through this area, we'll find somewhere else to stay.

The Van Buren hotel was perfect. Impeccably clean, with all the amenities. The hotel clerk was super friendly and helpful with questions. The bed and pillows were comfortable, A/C worked well, iron, board, coffee maker, etc. all worked well. All the soap canisters were full, room very clean. Definitely 5 out of 5!
