Holiday Inn Express & Suites Snyder by IHG

I had a short stay reserved, just one night. When I checked in they had no record of the reservation The young lady at the counter, Jaqueline, was more than happy to help. She was very friendly and polite as we navigated thru the confusion. Just what you would expect in a small Texas town. After flying all day then driving I just wanted a place to lay my head and rest. Jacqueline quickly got me checked in and sent me to my room. By noon the next day everything had been sorted and made right. The rooms were clean and welcoming and breakfast was pretty good. If I have to come this way again I’ll definitely be staying here.

Positive: Availability and breakfast. Staff was sweet just not around. Negative: No maid service. No coffee after first day. No clean linens. Dirty rug, made my feet black. Nasty stain on window side. Asked for handicapped but they gave it to one of the other three rooms I rented.

Why do hotels choose to have political "news" shows on the TVs in the common areas? It's an immediate turnoff when I see that as I check in or while eating breakfast. My room was fine, but common sense would go a long way.

I called to reserve a room and was greeted by Jacquline on the phone, she was very pleasant and helpful. I felt confident that our stay would be comfortable. I had a late arrival, around 10 PM and was greeted by Julian at the front desk. He was spot on and very accommodating, and helpful, above and beyond. He had all my info right in front of him like he was waiting for our arrival. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and the staff was very accommodating. Had a solid stay at the Holiday Inn—clean room, comfy bed, no drama. Only thing that tried to test my patience was the showerhead. That thing was spraying in about 50 different directions at once like it was fighting for its life. I felt like I was dodging water jets in a low-budget action movie. Fix that, and it’d be a full five stars.
