Best Western Snyder Inn

Booked in online. Arrived. Saw the motel was not a place for an elderly woman to stay. Parking lot not lit. Doors all open to the outside in an town not known for safety. Signs on doors warning you not to answer if someone knocks on door, use all the locking devices, don't wear jewelry. Asked to stay the night, but cancel the rest of my stay. Was told they would, but Best Western would not allow it. Called Best Western. Told them, this was not what I expected from a Best Western. I am a diamond select member. I've been in a lot of Best Westerns. Until now, all clean, safe and comfortable. They said they had no problem with my cancelling. Called hotel said they agreed to not charge me for the second day if I didn't stay. Checked with manager on the way out. Said he would refund the second d

Absolutely disgusting place, we got a 2 bed room and got there kind of late so they left our keycard on the gumball machine to check-in to our room. Then we get in the room and find piss in one of the beds (wasn't a stain, it smelled STRONG), it was late so we didn't bother trying to go back to the office and just shared the other bed. We told someone the next day and he didnt care, we had to ask for our money back, I called several times following up on the refund - was told it went through on their end but we never got our money back. We will never trust Best Western again.

Good location close to everything you need, pool was out of service, room was clean was good for a stop over on my way to DFW

Experience started bad but ended good so I’m giving them a 4. I booked online through Best Western app about 2 hours prior to arrival. Requested a downstairs room because I have a hard time dragging luggage upstairs. On arrival husband told her it didn’t matter if room was queen or king as long as it was downstairs. He was told nothing available so we lugged our stuff upstairs to a hot room with thermostat knob missing on AC. TV remote wasn’t working either so I was not a happy camper at this point. It had been a long travel day with a stop at the Lamesa Cemetery. We called down to get a new remote and young man who brought it up was super nice. When I asked for a fan since the room was hot, he got us moved downstairs to a king room that was already cool. Our stay was awesome with no comp

The room was clean and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly. The grounds needed some love. Lots of working men out barbecuing and listening to music but stopped by 10-ish. Good for the price. Had a decent selection for breakfast--the waffle batter was spoiled.
