Holiday Inn Express & Suites Roanoke – Civic Center by IHG

We spent one night with our family in a room with two double beds and a sofa. The room was very clean and in perfect condition, equipped with refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, air dryer... It was quiet, no unpleasant noises. The breakfast buffet had various food options and was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

This is a nice hotel. The staff was friendly and very responsive, especially at breakfast. The breakfast was good, typical of this type of hotel. The kids enjoyed watching the automatic pancake maker though! Good facilities and good accessibility on the TV in the room. The hotel was very secure and we felt safe here. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Roanoke that wants to be just outside of downtown.

We’ve stayed here a few times. It is always clean and the staff are polite and helpful. The first desk lady in day shift is always extremely nice and helpful. The only thing I would say is if you forget to put the dnd sign on the door the housekeeper will come before 9am (check out is 11am) to wake you up and ask if you are checking out. I’m sure it is on the paper or the computer system on who with be checking out and who had checked out. They are nice about it though.

The hotel was great, and it being in the city meant everything was a short drive away. The included breakfast was very nice and the staff were absolutely great, had a wonderful experience with Zariyah too!|The room was very spacious, clean and had all the essential. I absolutely loved the bench by the closet to put out carryon luggage on instead of beds/desk, extremely convenient.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY $220 IN ORDER TO RECOVER YOUR CAR FROM THE TOW YARD. I wish there was a way to give 0 stars. We arrived at this hotel at 1am, checked in, were given our room keys, and told to park anywhere outside. So we did! Next morning we checked out at 9am to a surprise… our car was towed from the parking lot. Upon asking the manager, she pulled up footage from early morning and said “well yeah looks like it was towed by Dunkin. I don’t know why Dunkin think they own this side of parking lot but anytime anyone parks there they tow it” all while holding a vape in her but no apology in sight. HOW WOULD WE KNOW THAT DUNKIN DOES NOT WANT US PARKING THERE?!?! It is your job as the hotel staff to let us know that we are not supposed to park there. There are no signs a
