Holiday Inn Express & Suites Napa Valley-American Canyon by IHG

We decided to stay here because hotel prices in Napa Valley were higher. We arrived at 11:30 AM, even though we knew check-in was at 3 PM. We asked if we could do an early check-in, and to our surprise, there was a room available. It was a blessing to be able to use the room before 3 PM since we had driven for 8 hours. The guy who assisted us at the reception was very friendly throughout. The room was spacious, the beds very comfortable, and it was very clean. The breakfast had many options like omelets, pancakes, turkey sausage, vegetables, and more. Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again.

Great price for the hotel, the only thing I didn’t really find worth it was that for an additional charge (around $10 or so) they give u a mini fridge and microwave. In other Holiday Inn Express Hotels I’ve stayed at, that’s included. I wasn’t sure what that fee was the first night so I payed it but the second day I rented same hotel I did not pay it and i got an exact same room with micro and fridge included so didn’t see the point of paying extra. The room was a single bed and in the first room the lamp didn’t work and a handle was broken. In the second room the closet light was missing a lightbulb because we clicked the light on top of the closet but didn’t light up even though the switch showed light. Neither restroom had extra tp 🧻 and the ones there were not new. I also put a 4 star

Positive: The night staff was really good our second night. Really went above and beyond when the toilet got plugged up. Negative: The beds! They where horrible. The breakfast was fine, but the fruit section was seriously subpar.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my wife while vacationing in the Napa Valley, exploring the wineries and surrounding towns. The location was ideal, with nearby supermarkets, and the area was quiet and safe. The breakfast offered a variety of options, including omelettes and sausages, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Our room faced the main street, so there was some vehicle noise, but it was manageable. The air conditioning unit was quite effective, though it did produce the expected noise from the airflow; however, I am particularly sensitive to noise while sleeping, and I found it to be tolerable. Overall, the hotel offered excellent value for the price, and we had a very pleasant stay.

Probably the best affordable hotel experience I’ve ever had. They had everything I needed and provided all service with a smile. The breakfast was also delicious and had a great variety. Perfect location as well - right near Napa and within a plaza that has food and shopping options. Highly recommend!
