DoubleTree by Hilton Napa Valley American Canyon

I'd like to be able to give a good review but cannot. I overlooked a few things like a broken iron (they brought a new one), our room was not ready upon check-in, yes, the pool looks murky and I hope the Koi fish live to tell about it but my biggest gripe (and we gave them 3 attempts to rectify it) is: Some guy began playing his guitar at 11:30 pm AND singing (perhaps he was recording his new material in the quiet of a hotel where EVERYONE was sleeping...cheaper than a recording studio). Additionally, there was the singer and I guess his back-up female vocalist; we could hear them through the walls and the guitar was loud enough to 'feel' the chords. Great price for the location but you get what you pay for. I gotta say the staff is really nice and is definitely the best part of the hotel. Cleaning and maintenance staff always said good morning with a smile each time I saw them. Rooms need some updating as furniture is quite worn out. They do got some nice large tvs

Positive: Would recommend only for Good location Negative: Hotel is going through renovation and the room was very old. A/C Air do not work and was too loud

Pleasant stay at this DoubleTree location. Comfortable beds, quiet area; however, the vent was dripping coolant. Our room had carpet; I would prefer tile for cleanliness. Overall, a good stay and accommodations. It's roughly 17 minutes from downtown Napa, so you'll need to Uber to most places.

The bed was comfortable and the TV and channel options were great. But I was in the bathroom and out of the corner of my eye I saw a big bug emerge from the bottom of the door frame. It was very fast trying to get across the room but I was able to chase it down and crush it. I'm pretty sure it was a roach. Very offputting! I was going to have breakfast at the onsite Table 29 Bistro, but could not find any county health inspection reports, so I went elsewhere assuming the worst.
