Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Napa American Canyon

I’ve gotten into the habit of reading the worst reviews before writing my own, out of curiosity and also to dispel or confirm any issues or concerns. We had a fantastic stay. The only negative that we experienced? There were no towels poolside. Luckily, our room was one of the closest to the pool(sorry about the wet carpet!) The staff were super friendly upon check in and check out. I was genuinely surprised at the warmth we received, rather than the customary robotic, scripted check in experiences at most hotels. The rooms were clean. No issues with ants or hair or any of the other complaints I read below. One thing I have noticed about reviews, they’re a single experience. The way one’s day is going, or how bad traffic may have been, can color our experience. That’s not to insinuate

The staff here was amazing! Really made my stay seeing so many friendly staff who truly cared about my experience. Had the warmest welcome even though we arrived at 9 pm.

The outside looks dated but my room was nice. Free internet and HBO with several channels. 2 large tvs. Couch and bed is comfortable Haa pool and exercise room.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff were super friendly, especially front desk woman who allowed me to check in early. Room was spacious. I appreciate the fridge, microwave, and extra seating area. Did not use pool or fitness room, but they seem decent. Breakfast was good; coffee better than at many hotels! I would return. I like to go to Calistoga regularly; but hotel prices are much higher there. This was a convenient location for me and a great value.

This location was good the only issue we had was the refrigerator went out and our food went bad. The front desk people were polite and the breakfast was good.
