Holiday Inn Express & Suites Morgan City - Tiger Island by IHG

My wife & I loved our stay & will definitely return to this property. It is not our first time here. From the moment our visit starts, throughout & until the end, everything is clean & in order. It is more than a breath of fresh air. There were horrible storms this weekend & many peoples lives were affected by them. Audibly, we heard nothing. The rooms were very well structured. We came for a time away from "life" & to rest & relax together & we received much more than that, we felt comfort. The staff was friendly, just like our family members (well most of them, lol). If you are looking for "THE" place with no worries & a smooth trip, definitely stay at the Holiday Inn Express Morgan City Tiger Island!

We stayed there for my nephews wedding 10/4. The staff is AMAZING! Super friendly, attentive and helpful. Rooms and hotel were clean. My only complaint was the fire alarm during breakfast that was super loud and wouldnt shut off but there was no fire thankfully. Would definitely stay here again.

I would not recommend staying here! Upon check in the bed linens had stains on them, there were also food crumbs on the comforter as well as in the sheets. There were ants in the room and the bathroom was obviously not properly sanitized before they assigned the room to us. Which I personally find absolutely disgusting! When I called the front desk to complain, the staff member rudely informed me that I could come downstairs to get replacement linens for the bed myself. I then had to proceed to strip and remake the bed, which also included putting the duvet on the comforter, myself. The ants in the room weren’t addressed until the following day when it was reported for the second time to the daytime staff. I also informed them of our experience upon check in, but was never offered a cleane

Totally disappointed I’ve stayed here before. Never had a problem, but have seen it going downhill for sometime. This day the toilet was clogged. It appears as though the sheets were not changed on the bed and there was no hot water.

Front desk was very helpful finding shopping and places to eat. Rooms were clean and well appointed.
