Amelia Extended Stay & Hotel

My reservation got canceled at the Hampton inn in Morgan City and this was close to the job site I had to go to. I was very hesitant on staying here but the reviews were all good. I am so glad I stayed here, the bed was super comfortable and the lady working the desk was very nice! The room was nice and cleans very basic but that’s is all you need. There was plenty of parking and they had a nice trail out back also a hangout spot in the back where you can hang out it looked like most used to drink beer. Definitely look forward to coming to this hotel again! One of the best hotel beds I’ve slept in! I had no problems with the WIFI.

This hotel is an absolute gem. We were looking for somewhere affordable to stay for a few weeks or so, and quite by chance we found this place. We've loved it so much, we've stayed over 2 months. It's an extended stay and generaly attracts guys working on the oil rigs in the Gulf, although there's a good mix of others, too, families, couples, the lot. ||Rooms are comfortable and absolutely spotlessly clean. They're not luxury rooms but they have everything you need: strong A/C, mini-kitchens with full fridges, flat-screen TVs, and an endless supply of hot water. All the usual amenities are available: toiletries, iron, etc. Wifi has recently been updated, and it's fast and strong. We work online, and we had no troubles. We had an amazing stay, all the staff, housekeepers front desk workers were awesome and service was excellent. Anything that I asked for I received in a timely manner.

Clean rooms for the most part. Damage to walls, stains and hair on sheets. No one came to my room even though cleaning was supposed to come on a certain day while I was there. And advertising a full kitchen is a bit of stretch. Be prepared to bring you’re own pots, pans, cutlery, paper towels, etc. I travel for work and have never had to provide any of these things for myself.

This is the place to be if you're in town for work. Great price, clean rooms and great service.
