Holiday Inn Express & Suites Meadowlands Area by IHG

We stayed at the Holiday Inn and were pleasantly surprised! The rooms were comfortable, clean, and nicely maintained. Our only minor issues were that the TV wasn’t working and the door handle was a little tricky, which made getting in and out of the room a bit challenging. The free breakfast was decent, the coffee was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel exceeded my expectations and was a great location only just five minutes from the American Dream mall, which was perfect for our visit. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and would return in the future!

⭐️ (1/5)||This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had.||We were placed in Room 108, right next to the lobby and elevators. The noise was nonstop all night — people in the lobby, elevators running constantly, loud music, and TVs. Sleeping was nearly impossible. On top of that, the heater made extremely loud and startling noises every time it turned on.||I went to the front desk during the night to complain, but nothing was done. The music and TVs continued at the same volume, and no effort was made to fix the situation.||A room like this should never be sold at full price. The lack of sleep completely ruined our stay. I would not stay here again and do not recommend this hotel unless you are guaranteed a room far away from the lobby and elevators.

I traveled with my boyfriend to visit the American Dream Mall, and this hotel was a good price with great proximity; only about a five-minute drive away. The room itself was standard: a bed, a small kitchen, and a bathroom. Everything was clean and fairly average. We were placed in a first-floor room right next to the small indoor pool, which I do not recommend. The pool is supposed to be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., but both mornings it was open around 8 a.m., an hour earlier than posted. The noise from the pool (splashing and screaming) echoed directly into our room. I don’t mind noise too much, but it’s definitely something to be aware of. If you’re looking for a quiet stay, avoid rooms near the pool. The breakfast was mid at best. Very typical hotel food: sausage, eggs, bagels, pancak

Rooms had a very strong smoke smell to it. Luckily I was able to open the window to air out the room. Room itself was clean but showed wear and tear. Room faced road and was quite noisy. Microwave, Pool was smaller than picture showed and water was cloudy but warm. Free breakfast was adequate and staff was very friendly and courteous. They kept the area clean. Location is close to major roads and american dream mall. It was fine for a one night stay.
