Clear poop stains on the toilet (see pic1)! When we called the front desk, do you know what they said? "Oh, we were fully booked yesterday." WHAT??? So you already expected the room to be unclean??? And what happened to the new room that we switched to? See pic2. Better, huh. The two spots on the toliet became even acceptable after we were exposed to the first room...

We stay 2 – 3 times per year for 4 – 5 days each stay when visiting family in Los Alamos. The staff is generally easy to find and friendly. Some staff have been at this hotel for years. Special commendation to the woman who staffs the breakfast buffet Monday to Friday and stays on top of keeping the buffet stocked. The breakfast buffet food is pretty good (I’m a fan of the warm cinnamon rolls). Everything is clean, and the furniture and finishes from the remodel 3 or 4 years ago are holding up well. But the hotel does not do daily housekeeping. Guests must request mid-stay housekeeping. And even when requested, it gets done on that day only about 70% of the time due to a lack of staffing. It is disappointing to return to the hotel after our day’s activities, anticipating a tidied room with

I would give this hotel an 11 out of 10 but will only give it a ten because I don’t like rain shower shower heads. Clean, fresh rooms and public areas. Nicely laid out rooms. Hotel staff was pleasant. The location was easy to access and close enough to town.

Positive: The rooms were very nice and clean very comfortable Negative: When arriving they were short staff only had 1 housekeeper in labor day weekend so there was people waiting 2 hours or longer just to be checked in

Well run hotel. Staff at front desk very helpful and capable. Hotel is very clean and the breakfast was well stocked and each of our 4 night stay changed the menu of what was being served in the hot food area. Would definitely come back.
