Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jacksonville North-Fernandina by IHG

I came to Jacksonville to attend a wedding and stayed here. They had several rooms reserved for this event since most of the guests were from out of state. They a did wonderfuljob accommodating everyone and even made sure our our rooms were all together. Rooms were all nice and clean, breakfast was very good, and staff was very pleasant. Overall it was Great.

Why are handicapped rooms the longest distance from the handicapped parking. Very clean good room good breakfast. Check in easy good referral for dinner,Shuckers seafood.

Why not?! Did I need to request housekeeping service? I saw the hard working housekeeper several times when leaving my room on both days and yet my room was not cleaned and clean towels were not provided after my first night there. Why not? I had to call the front desk to request clean towels after my first night stay. I had to run down to the front desk that morning to pick up the clean towels because the housekeeping staff had yet to arrive that morning. The small garbage pails in my room were overflowing on the morning of my second stay because my room was not cleaned at all. I am happy to pay for my hotel room [and to leave a tip for the housekeeping staff] and yet basic ousekeeping service was not provided. Why not?! I continue to hear that customer service in America c

Staff was great, easy check in. Easy parking. Safe environment just off the interstate. Hotel and room were very clean and modern. Hot water for morning shower was....slow to get warm at 10am. One degree cooler and it would have been uncomfortable. The free breakfast was above average compared to similar hotels in my experience. I'd stay there again.

this is the absolute worst holiday inn I've ever stayed in, service was horrible when you try to complain. room 208 tv didn't work, the ac made a terrible noise all night and to top that I woke up to a roach in my bathroom. if I was there longer then 1 night there would of been all sorts of problems. this is absolutely ridiculous for a hotel. no compensation whatsoever. i can't say enough absolutely terrible.
