Holiday Inn Express & Suites Gunnison by IHG

One of the best hotel stays we've had in a long long time! The room was spacious(with terrific views) king bed incredibly comfortable- pillows just right. Breakfast was hot, great options BUT the coffee stood out the most! We've never had hotel coffee this good! The beans grind right before you brew!! So amazing! A+!

Wow! This place was awesome. The place was well lit, felt clean and comfortable, and had many extra touches to make you feel like you are on a vacation. Front desk employees were super helpful, giving us ideas of where to go, etc. Check in was flawless. Room was comfortable, clean and roomy. Comfortable bed, and comes with a sofa/couchbed. Great place to sit and relax. Furniture was plentiful. Hanging armoire, drawer dresser, and a large (bench-like) area to keep all of our suitcases off the floor. The entranceway was tiled, and there was a small "kitchen area" there. Decent sized mini fridge, clean coffeemaker and microwave(didn't use that). The bathroom was airy, modern and clean. The sink had a liquid handsoap and lotion dispenser. The shower had a triple dispenser with body wash, shamp

Positive: Front desk staff were awesome! Negative: Really disappointed that the hot tub was not working. I will ask before making a reservation. Breakfast doors were slammed shut exactly at 9:30 with lots of people still eating breakfast. Would have been nice to have been given a 5 minute warning.

Clean rooms, comfortable bed, very good breakfast, lots of outlets. The fridge was off so my food spoiled. The soap dispenser in the shower used a pumped Dove lotion-like soap that was not like a soap at all. Didn’t work well. The soap dispenser for the sink was inconveniently placed.

In the last month I have stayed at a Holiday inn Express or holiday inn 18 days 4 separate locations. This one was the most expensive and also the most used. It's still relatively clean but showing the most used up out of the 4 I have stayed at recently. I am sure I will stay here again it's a nice place but for the price there are fresher ones out there.
