Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ft. Lauderdale Airport/Cruise by IHG

The location of the hotel is great as far as distance to the airport and cruise terminals. They offer shuttle service to and from the airport at no additional cost, but the shuttle service to the cruise is about $17-20/person. The breakfast was really good and the pool was nice. The service could use some help, especially with frequent visitors coming to and from consistently. Mac and Jerimah were extremely helpful and accommodating. Sonya, on the other hand, was very direct and not as accommodating. Also, when I called to book the stay, I was told they offered shuttle service 24 hours/day. That is NOT the case. They only offer shuttle service until noon to the airport so if you have a later flight you either have to go hang out at the airport or use another way of transportation. Hope thi

The customer service I received at this location as an IGH member was so disappointing. The front desk clerk was SO RUDE. Like most when I’m traveling l lock my card. I had just arrived, not been off my flight for 10 mins, it’s loud in the airport & I’m trying to get myself together after a long flight. I received a phone call from them @ 3:30 about running my card & it was declined. I told the lady to give me a min, yes l still wanted my room & was still coming. I asked her if they were sold out of near because I understood making sure you don’t have wasted booked rooms. She said No, & kept asking for a new card number. I told her the card is good, & again it’s only 3:30 check in just started. ( let me get out this airport) THEY CANCELED MY FREAKING RESERVATION! I was glad cause poor cust

This Holiday Inn Express & Suites was perfect. They sent a shuttle to the airport to pick us up, taking us to the Hotel. You walk in & the Concierge was smiling, polite & helpful. There was a nice sitting lobby as well as tables & chairs for the continental breakfast. An outdoor smoking area. Everything was very clean. The room was a decent size, bigger than I expected & very clean. The breakfast was delicious, all the tables were clean as well as the floor. Very enjoyable.

We needed a place to stay before our cruise and after our cruise. They have a free shuttle service from and to Airport (proper etiquette is to tip driver)and a shuttle service to Cruise Port. There is a fee for shuttle to Cruise Port. Hotel is great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Both times we checked in we were helped by Vesna. Hotel is very clean. They have a wonderful Continental/hot breakfast. They have a small Snack Shop by front desk, and ice machines on some of the floors. We were on 3rd floor with major road right outside but heard no traffic noise. All around a very nice place to stay.
