Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fraser - Winter Park Area by IHG

Worst experience ever. Beds unclean. Looked like bed bugs presence. I was terrified. Management claims that they inspect it thoroughly but the reality is just the opposite. See the pics. When I reported this , I was told to immediately vacate the property with my family. No grace period. I had two kids and I did not have anywhere to go during the busy ski season for a reasonable price and had to scramble something at the last minute. This is for no fault of mine. Management should have taken action such that they fix the issue and provide a good customer experience if there is an issue. This is not the way to handle the situation. Everything was clean. Im just going to say dog friendly. Any town near there is dog friendly. I congratulate the breakfast crew for keeping the food flowing and hot! Lots of hungry people getting ready to hit the slopes. So thanks to the whole crew for a pleasant, informative stay. Yep, forget to thank clerk for telling us about local events and free bus shuttle!

I would highly recommend this place if staying in winter park. It is right next to Safeway and across from 4 restaurants (walking distance). The rooms are clean and having a pool and hot tub was great for the kids. Also the breakfast was AMAZING. They even had GLUTEN FREE MUFFINS AND BAGELS!!!! I’ve not been to a single hotel with gluten free muffin options. They also had soy milk option. So this place is mindful of others dietary restrictions. I highly recommend this place we will stay again.

This stay left us heartbroken and honestly shaken. We booked two nights because we were so excited it was our first time ever seeing snow. But on our first night, the news announced a major snowstorm and dangerous cold front headed straight for the area. As tourists who have never driven in snow before, we were terrified. Our biggest concern was simply getting back to the Denver airport alive and safe. We went to the front desk hoping for understanding, and explained everything to the manager, Victor that this wasn’t a normal cancellation, this was a weather emergency for people who have zero experience driving in icy mountain conditions. Very clean room, good breakfast, nice pool and hot tub. In-room fridge and microwave were a plus. Liked the in-room Keurig and the disposable plastic cups in the bathroom for teeth brushing. They put out tasty chocolate chip cookies every day and there is a tea, coffee, and hot chocolate station in the lobby complete with mini marshmallows. Among the best tasting tap water I’ve had, though that may not be surprising given the location. Very nice experience overall and would definitely stay here again.
