Hideaway Mountain Lodge

Amazing lodging off the beaten path. It literally has everything you need for the family. Great rooms w/ awesome bed sheets . They have a game room w pool table , toy for kids, board games and movies . It also has a heated pool and hot tub . It has games for the pool, googles, pool noodles and games for the pool. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They make homemade breakfast and you get to choose what you want the day before .

My wife and I had a wonderful 13 day stay at the Hideaway Mountain Lodge for skiing.  This is our 6th stay here.  Mike and Carla are excellent hosts.  They make all of their guests feel at home.  The amazing breakfasts include a cinnamon pecan french toast bake, crepes with fresh fruit & sweat cream, and cranberry orange french toast.  Breakfast also includes the best coffee in the Rockies.  The breakfast room overlooks a large meadow where we've seen moose on several of our visits.  After a day on the slopes, be sure to stop in for Carla's fresh baked cookies.  The rooms are warm, comfortable, and well lit (We've been in way too many motel rooms where you need a flashlight - even with all the lights turned on).  You won't find worn out towels and sheets.  Hideaway has some of the softest

We had the BEST stay here! The 2 people who run this hotel couldn’t be more kind, helpful and truly make you feel at home. We said may times the next day that the bed was the comfiest bed we’ve ever slept in. The breakfast/menu in the morning was delicious and I’ll never forget egg casserole and pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes. The view out the windows of the dining room was gorgeous l. Tip: watch a VHS tape in the media room and it’ll make you feel so nostalgic. There’s something very, very special about this place.

We enjoyed yet another 2 week stay at Hideaway with Mike and Carla. The breakfasts are amazing and the room is quiet and comfortable. This was our 5th stay at Hideaway, and we have noted that there are quite a few repeat guests. If the skiing conditions aren't to your liking, the Fraser Tubing Hill is nearby and the Lodge has an indoor pool, hot tub, pool table, hundreds of movies and a library. After a day of skiing, don't miss out on the fresh baked cookies and a cup of hot chocolate or coffee. We'll be back again.
