Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fort Stockton by IHG

Hotel is a bit dated, but very clean and I was taken care of very well. The staff was fantastic. The room had everything you need. Hopefully when they update they will add a larger television. One thing I appreciate, very very much: The doors to the stairwells remain open. They are magnetized to a plate on the wall and, in case of a fire, the doors will release and close. The good thing about this is that at 3 am you don't hear people slamming these doors.

I basically live at holiday inn. I've been on the road for 10 years and always stay here. This piticular holiday has great service at the desk. They never give an issue or be lazy like alot of hotels do. They could definitely upgrade the ac units in the room or adjust them. Several rooms I've stayed in here only get so cold and it can get warm while ur trying to sleep. Other than that. This is a great hotel

Road trip...traveling w/o reservation. I should have made reservation online or via 1-800-Holiday prior to arriving. We were greeted and told there were no king beds available only queen standard room and king suites. I decided to check online for a better price on the suite. Online showed a king room available...decided to call 800 # to confirm. Upon calling, confirmed king room available (guess the link between reservations and actual hotel were not compatible), but I was honest and stated that I was at the hotel and was told by the front desk there was not a king room available...booked a king suite. Wonder what the front desk would have done had I unknowingly booked a king room prior to arrival...given me the king suite for the king room price??? Pet peeves...no ice...told that the

Over all it was an ok stay. Customer service was nothing special, no smile or welcome, just how can I help you. The rooms had some scratched Paint, stains on the furniture and a bug in the pull out couch. The beds are very firm, which was not bad honestly. Pillows was soft. A/C was cold. My favorite part was in the bathroom, they had dove everything. So when you showered your skin actually felt good, Dove lotion as well. The breakfast was your typical everything heated in a microwave but tasted ok. They had this cool automatic pancake maker. They do set out cookies in the afternoon. Honestly we paid $128 with tax. For a night and the condition of the room, price should have been cheaper, felt more like a Motel 6 rather than a Holdiay Inn
