Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ennis by IHG

Location is right off the highway, very easy to get to and from when you are coming & going. Restaurants are within walking distance. The rooms are nice, facility is very clean & well maintained. Everyone was very accommodating. The staff was great and always friendly. I would like to give a special thank you to those that were there on my families stay and took great care of us. Lucy, Tesa, Badair & Amy. My daughter lives in Ennis. This will always be our home away from home when visiting there! Thank you all for the hospitality given.

Enjoyed our overnight stay. Rooms were very clean and cool, but a bit humid (weather outside was warm). Hot showers were a plus. Breakfast was plentiful, clean and delicious. Lucy was delightful and very helpful.

I’ve been fairly loyal to the brand for decades now, but as the lodging business has changed, I’m not exactly sure what the “express” label defines, other than no food and beverage, as we knew it when the company was young. Hardly any inn is doing that today, simply from a need to survive. This one looks as good as any express location, and they have renewed the building back to new in 2023.||It would be unusual for me to spend the night in this city since I live about 60 minutes away. I was just too tired to continue the drive safely, and that’s how I ended up here. Upon arrival the desk agent was extremely professional and courteous. The property looks good, and inviting and both the building and grounds well cared for.||Upon getting into my sleeping room I found the same problem I do

Clean room, nice bench area to place your bag, great lounge chair, nice shampoo conditioner and body wash dispensers right in the shower, Frig & coffee maker in the room, large breakfast included. Similar to most hotels, the lighting in the room could be improved, but it's not a deal breaker. The ironing board was missing, but I didn't need it. Overall this is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it to other people visiting. I stayed at a competitor a few months ago and it was terrible. Stay here instead, it's worth the small extra cost.

I travel a lot for work and I want to say this is probably the best Holiday Inn I have stayed at! Buffy at the front desk is very nice and helpful and goes out of her way to make sure that everything is great for your stay! This is our 2nd week here and Ms Herrera always greets us at the front with a smile. Hotel is very clean and plenty of places to eat nearby. I sleep almost as good here as I do at home! Thank yall for your hardwork!
