Holiday Inn Express & Suites Clinton, an IHG Hotel

Our time at Holiday Inn Express & Suites : Clinton, Iowa was very comfortable and we will stay there again any time we are back in the area. Our check-in was easily accomplished and we were very impressed with the spacious room and the comfort of it. We had travelled from Ohio and were very tired and we were blessed to find a comfortable place to settle in. Breakfast was AWESOME!!!!! Both days! I'm a people person and the employees (everywhere -- in the breakfast area, the housekeeping staff, etc.) very, very friendly and accommodating. My wife needed to do a full day of remote work and the WIFI was more than sufficient. They are suppose to have a heated pool, but the pool was ice 🧊 cold. I got a room for my granddaughters to swim in February in Iowa. Not long after jumping into the pool, thier lips turned purple, and they were shivering. Staff would not admit the pool was not heated properly. Staff only had an excuse, but failed to realize I have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the winter. I live in the area. I called corporate, and I was told a manager would call me within 24 hours. I never got a call or refund. Where is the integrity...update: I got a call after my post was read.

I had a great stay, the staff were friendly and always willing to help with anything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout my visit. I also appreciated the convenient location which made it easy to get around and find nearby restaurants.

We were in town for a night and needed somewhere to stay. This hotel was clean, and was in an easy location. The pool was fun for the kids and the breakfast in the morning was very nice. I have no complaints about staying here. Thank you for the hospitality!
