Holiday Inn Express & Suites Canton by IHG

Booked the wrong date while traveling & deciding to stop halfway through to TN bc I have a toddler. Hotel staff said no more rooms available at all didn’t even ask what kind of room we needed well the website showed they had 3 rooms available for two queen beds. Honestly not even mad at them for that after looking at the other reviews they did us a favor. Booked at Hampton down the street and rooms are perfect after what looks like a remodel. Beds are super comfy and highly recommend! Thanks to the hotel staff at holiday inn for making sure we dodged a bullet 😆

The hotel is conveniently located near exit 119 on I-55. This hotel is in need of a major renovation. The bathtub has been painted and the paint is badly peeling. Also the painter was not careful and there is paint in the edges of the fixtures. There is something in the areas where the tub meets the wall. Could be mildew or mold I can’t tell. The state of the tub was such that we decided to skip a bath for this day. It appears that the sink and countertops have been replaced and they are clean and nice. The curtain on the window is worn and has small holes along the outbid sides that you can see sunlight through during the daytime. Unfortunately I do not recommend staying at this property.

Ok where to start. Room #109-Our bed had a HUGE dip in the middle. I mean we rolled into it. I had to sleep on the edge. Smh. The topper had holes. What exactly did I pay for? At breakfast the drink machine was broken, the tables & seats had not been cleaned after use. Just very disappointing over all. And the walls are very, very thin. I come to Canton once a year & have stayed here many times, but I doubt I'll ever stay here again.

The service here is amazing!!! Everyone at guest service and the manager of housekeeping were very quick at solving any issues we were having. We were in town for our family reunion, staying here was convenient and affordable. This will be our place to go for each and every visit. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant one.
