Holiday Inn Express New Albany by IHG

Was great until …… the morning! Never have my husband or I ever thought to look at the tub/shower. A week later As we travel now we still haven’t learned lol. We went to shower in the morning and …what the heck?? It looked like someone had poured out a coffee cup full of coffee or hot chocolate leftovers in it! I took a tissue and it did come off, but no way am I cleaning this tub! Ohhhh my mind went other thoughts and yuck…. Sooo nope didn’t clean it or take any showers! The pictures are alittle hard to see but you might see a light version of it. Other than that the bed and pillows were nice. No punching out the tucked in tight pillows that are hard at some places. I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service and amenities. The hotel was very clean and everything worked. Shower was amazing. But the best part was the Amazing staff. The young man who checked us in was so friendly and kind. The lady who did breakfast was just an absolute breath of fresh air. She told us she was blessed to have her job and the breakfast showed her commitment and joy. Best biscuits ever. What a great way to start a trip. Thank You New Albany staff.

False advertising. They say pets are welcome, that is a flat out lie. I have a tiny little parakeet and was searching for a place that welcomes pets. I read about this place on the IHG app and was excited because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. We came in told them about our parakeet and was no longer warm and welcoming. They made it very clear that my bird was not welcome and I had to pay a 50 dollar fee just because he was not a “normal pet”. We forced a smile and dealt with it. We went up to our room and made ourselves comfortable. The beds itself was clean but the bathroom? Ohhhh the bathroom was a mess! The toilet lid wasn’t aligned and hung off the side of the toilet and the bathtub was yellow. Again we just dealt with it. Breakfast wasn’t that bad some choices nothing outsta

I couldn’t have asked for better service. I travel every week and the breakfast at New Albany was the best. Everything was clean and in order but the thing that made it great was the lady that prepared the breakfast. I didn’t get her name but she was on top of her job, very nice and a blessing to meet her. It was a great start to my day meeting her. Will stay here again.
