Holiday Inn Express Lapeer by IHG

I did enjoy my stay and the cleanness and staff friendliness. The fitness center has some cardio machines, but no free weights. I often am in the area and choose other hotels because of this issue. Some of my coworkers do the same when they travel this area for business. Seems like this should be an easy fix but doesn't seem to happen.

It was very clean and well organized. They had a group in the conference room and the employees would stop to see if they needed anything from time to time while they where setting up. I found out it was a group for service dogs and the housekeeper said they like staying in Lapeer especially because it's close to I 69. But non of the hotels are on a main road which I don't like.

The hotel looked good, staff was nice, room was comfortable. We’ve had a problem in the past that housekeeping never replaced the same number of towels use but this time we didn’t have that problem. The was nice.

If I could give the staff 10 stars I absolutely would , stayed here last week with my mom and son for his birthday and everyone was beyond accommodating and friendly made my little guy feel right at home , Kirk and Morgan have also been so personable and just AMAZING, we are going back before my mom flys out and will definitely be coming again in the future when we need a getaway best hotel experience we have had in over a decade !

I am currently stay at this hotel paying approximately $800 a week, while I wait for my soon to be ex husband to move out of my house. I have diagnosed moderate to high anxiety disorder with panic attacks and PTSD from work related trauma. As well as going through a lot trying to divorce my narcissistic husband. Needless to say one of my “coping mechanisms” is smoking my physician has even told me to not attempt to quit smoking because of the way my life is and has been. I had an incident today with a member of the management staff Kirk. I typically have stayed at Marriot hotels, but there is not one in my area. I have on more than one occasion paid the $250 fine for room smoking with no issues. I only smoke in the bathroom and use air freshener etc… well needless to say Kirk took the ini
