Holiday Inn Budd Lake - Rockaway Area by IHG

Positive: Our room was ready when we got there which was about an hour before check-in. The staff at the front desk when we got there we’re very friendly Monday, July 14. Danielwas one of the attendance at the front desk. Both gentlemen were very willing to help. Negative: Our room was clean, but there was dust and some make up products on the floor that could have been cleaned up. During the week are beds were made, and garbage was taken out, but the soap dispenser in the tub and the empty tissue dispenser weren’t filled.

Could not ask for a better location when you have to work outside to clear the heavy snow. Located right in the perfect spot for the men I worked with. Even with the 20 inches of snow plus, the morning I left, the owner even stopped what he was doing to help me shovel my car out and assist me in being able to leave. As I went to plow snow, I had no intentions of a bathing suit, but the pool being open during the day and hot tub is a true plus I will not forget to use next time. Truly appreciate the help from the owner and the great stay during our time of need.

We finally got around to reviewing this! We had a Christmas party at the Holiday Inn during the holiday season, and we’d been planning it for a few weeks. Everything went off without a hitch, and even better than we had hoped. I have to say, they nailed the decorations, and the event was fantastic. The food was amazing, and the drinks were so festive. I didn’t take any pictures, but all the staff were wonderful from beginning to end, and I’m already looking forward to our next party in February.

I was here in early December for work. Work had chosen the hotel, not me. I know what to expect from these kind of places generally, but they are generally pretty good. The staff was pretty friendly except the guy who checked me in. This one guy should not be in hospitality, not welcoming at all. He really seems like he doesn’t want to be there. The best way to describe him is prissy, if you see him you’ll know who I’m taking about. It was cold outside but also cold in the hallways and lobby. They can’t figure out how to heat those things or they won’t heat them like a cheap uncle… Room was a decent size & clean but might have been the worst hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. I kept waking up every hour. It was really hard to get restorative sleep there. Doesn’t seem like they change out their

Worst Holiday Inn experience- if I could give it 0 stars I would. In September I was visiting because I was in wedding. When I got to the room my bathroom sink was leaking. I had to walk down to the lobby to reach anyone since the phone wouldn’t ring. They asked for me to give them 15 minutes to try to fix it, or if not they would change my room. They “fixed” it and let me know I could go back- I rushed to get ready and went right to the rehearsal dinner. When I got back at night and washed my face, it still was dripping out the bottom (not as bad as before but still leaking). Couldn’t reach the front desk.. again. So walked down- they told me no one was available to fix it at this hour but offered me towels- I was fine with that because I was exhausted. Went up to get ready for bed and wh
