We had the small twin type bedroom. Comfortable and quiet. Economical if in todays times anything is truly worth the price. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was free although it was in the parking garage across the street that the elevator to go down wasnt responding to the button. You could go up but to go down we had to walk down a level push that button. Casino of one arm bandits was nice. We bet a dollar and walked away with $70. Free drinks even on the penny slots. Restaurant and bar were good. The fact its centrally located for those of us who just want to walk the shops or see a silly gunfight reenactment makes it great.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary, and it was very pleasant. We stayed in “The Bullock Suite” on the 3rd floor, which had a jacuzzi and a great view of Main Street. We were welcomed to our room by note stating that the mattresses in the room were to be replaced on the morning of our anniversary, which means we missed out on a couple hours of enjoying our suite that morning, which was a bit of an inconvenience. Staff was not very clear on the parking situation, as our vehicle in the parking garage across from the entrance received some tickets after a couple of nights. Those arriving at their stay should be sure to get clarification from Staff on this at the time of arrival to avoid surcharges and tickets that we received. The Staff were very polite to us, and even politely a

Positive: Staff was great. Slots were loose enough for pretty good gaming experience. Negative: Room was little chilly, but they had a heater I could have used. Not that I didn't like it, just something someone prissy might hate on.

These rooms have keys unlike most with key cards. This is a beautiful well-kept historic building that you can tell by the woodwork and layout of the rooms. Be aware street view does not necessarily mean street view overlooking Deadwood downtown. Did not see that they had air conditioning but they did have fans, however we went in the winter so it wasn't needed. Staff was friendly and accommodating! You park on the backside across the main road going through town.

Great prices! Friendly and helpful staff! Always clean rooms and nearly noiseless from an otherwise ostensibly noisy street. Slept like a baby! Did I mention the beds were like sleeping on clouds…? Guess I forgot, the beds were like sleeping on clouds! Lol I’m walking distance from anything in town. I will always stay here from now on when in Deadwood. It makes a great vacation even better! Awesome old world, ambience!
