Hilton Vacation Club Mill Springs Lodge Pigeon Forge

Positive: Newly built rooms with multiple bedrooms - not something you always find in the Smokies. Negative: Indoor pool is at the adjoining property, rooms were NOT ready at check-in, and be sure to wash any dishes before you use them. They indeed look clean, but there was a film in the pots once filled with water - film went away after we cleaned them.

The rooms (had washer/dryer, sink, microwave, fridge, cooktop, plates and bowls) were great. The pools are adequate sized and many of them. Only gripe would be that they did not provide a restaurant or breakfast for the guests like every other Hilton. But i can overlook that for the price, amenities and size of the rooms.

This place is lovely. It is a resort. They have 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms. The 3 bedroom is a presidential suite with a TV room, soaking tub in the master bedroom, outdoor seating with a grill to cook, a fireplace, and many extras. We are in a 2 bedroom and it is on the top floor. There are 5 floors. It is very clean and has utensils in the kitchen such as a coffee pot, cups, bowls, plates, etc. However, some cooking utensils, such as a whisk and a spatula, were not there. ||The master bedroom is large, with a king-sized bed and plenty of room to walk around. The master bathroom has a huge walk-in shower for 2. |You can sit outside on the porch and enjoy the trees and mountains. The patio is secluded. We really enjoyed our recent stay, 3 teenage girls were impressed! Although we ran into a small issue with the dishwasher, the staff handled it incredibly well. They were attentive, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was resolved quickly and comfortably. Their professionalism and genuine care made a big impression and turned the situation into a positive experience. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to others. We bought a three night package deal for Mill Ridge Lodge through Bluegreen vacations, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hilton brand. Dealing with Bluegreen reps over the phone was the usual hassle, but the actual Hilton folks on-site were very accommodating. This was a nice time of the year to visit as it wasn't overly crowded at the hotel or in town and we were treated to the fall colors. The hotel itself is off the main drag going through Pigeon Forge and even then its set back off of the highway which adds to the peace and quiet. The town of Pigeon Forge is the definition of tourist trap, but there are decents deals and loads of entertainment options to choose from. We were two adult couples with two children 6 and 8.
