Hilton Grand Vacations Club Las Palmeras Orlando

The hotel is well located if you want to attend a conference or the universal studios park. But you need a car to go out for dinner. The menu options at the hotel are really far from what I was expecting. The shower in the gym bathroom (men and women) were cold and not repaired for the entire time of our stay. There are no lockers to place your stuff at the gym. The swimming pool and patio are in the shade mid day in February. So even if the weather is nice, this is taking the pool experience to a low level after a hard day of work at the conference.

A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights and we were talking about how nice it was the entire stay. Especially coming from a budget Disney World resort earlier in the week, the accomodations here were much nicer. We didn't arrive until around midnight for check-in since we were out at Magic Kingdom all day (I had called Las Palmeras prior to let them know). Upon check-in we were greeted by 2 incredibly friendly employees who welcomed us in and provided a few bottles of water. Once we got to our room we were amazed at how nice and spacious it was. I took the master bedroom with the king bed and my friend took the living room queen pullout bed. This was my destination hotel for the Hilton Grand Vacations pitch. When I made the reservation I told them that I had a condition for which I needed to take medical baths & wanted to ensure that the location had a bathtub that I could soak in for the purpose. The agent told me to just let them know when i arrive and they would just give me the same level room with a bathtub on arrival. So I did that, and they had to downgrade my room because non of the upgraded rooms had bathtubs. I'm on the 3rd floor and the view is crap. So they downgraded my room, but this bathtub is just an upjumped sink. It barely covers my thighs. Equally as important- the air quality in this hotel is terrible. The front desk staff seemed we unfriendly and unhelpful multiple times. Also know that if you are staying less than 5 nights they won’t clean it. The room was dingy and not very clean when we checked in and with no service for three night stay I would steer away from this place. Also 10 am checkout is very early. I’m a diamond member and they didn’t care at all. Wouldn’t give me even an extra hour to hen flight was delayed 5 hours. Don’t waste your money on this place much better options in area.

Positive: "" Negative: Terrible experience. My room was booked at Las Palmeras. I arrived at 10:30pm and had to take what ended up being a pretty sketchy Lyft provided by the hotel to another Hilton location in Sea World. Added a bunch of unnecessary stress to my trip
