Hilton Grand Vacations Club Anderson Ocean Myrtle Beach

So I was disappointed by this Hilton brand hotel. While the appliances are older, they need better maintenance. We had a good ocean view with our room. They need to improve their valet parking because texting with the expectation for the car to be pulled up in 10 minutes did not happen. The internet was wack. You only have internet access either in lobby or your floor. But not in the gym or anywhere else physically in the hotel or in front of the hotel. It was so frustrating--would not recommend if you are considering staying here for business. I booked through Delta and went with this hotel because it was <$100 cheaper than Wyndham but I regret it. At least Wyndham had continental breakfast, plenty of parking and better updated appliances and TV monitor.

Positive: The room and the view were outstanding! Negative: The room service. They would show up around 9am, so I put the do not disturb sign on until we left at 9:30 or 10 am so they never did the mid week cleaning. I really wanted new bedding but that never happened

This location was fantastic. We had a one bedroom facing the ocean and had great sunset views everyday. The room was spacious and clean. I love the text service they have where you send a message and someone is at your door in minutes. They have a few small pools, one of which is heated and two hot tubs. You are steps from the beach which was clean. They have a complimentary valet service for those with handicaps, otherwise they have a full service garage about a block away. The area is safe and you are close to "Myrtle Beach Broadway".

My recent experience with Hilton Grand Vacations Club Anderson Ocean Myrtle Beach was extremely disappointing and unfortunately left me with a very negative impression of both the property and how Hilton Grand Vacations handles customer situations. First, the condition of the property itself was not what I expected from a Hilton-affiliated resort. The hotel appeared worn and run down in several areas, and the surrounding location did not feel particularly safe. This was surprising given how the property and vacation package were presented. The property location is quite convenient to the Myrtle Beach tourist area. I exchanged my regular timeshare for six (6) nights with an oceanfront two-bedroom condo. The staff is terrific—especially the valet parking service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The view from our 21st-floor condo was stunning. The unit was fine overall. The kitchen equipment, however, is in dire need of replacement—from cooking pans and prep bowls to essentials like a whisk and other utensils. I purchased a decent whisk—simply for making breakfast eggs and pancakes—and left it for future guests.
