Hilton Garden Inn Orange Beach Beachfront

The Hilton Garden Inn in Orange Beach, Alabama, was a beautiful place! I liked the hotel layout. My favorite parts while staying there were collecting shells on their beaitiful private beach behind the hotel, leisurely riding innertubes on their "heated river" behind the hotel and enjoying their delicious breakfast buffet. Every hotel employee we met was wonderful and helpful! I reserved a physicallyhandicapped room with island view. My only unpleasant part of my stay was the flooding from the handicapped bathroom shower that flooded the bathroom floor, into the front entrance to the room, even wetting the hall carpet. I reported it to the front desk, who thanked me for reporting it. They said it was because it was a handicapped room. I told them it didn't matter...if it was a handicapped

Unfortunately this may be the last time we will be in a Hilton. We booked 2 nights in the hotel. Its like Cuba. It looks nice from the entrance as so many do but this hotel is terrible. It was not nice see photos, the curtains hanging and a wore hanger hanging on the interior door We were not happy when we first walked in but we decided to stay the first night because we came in late night. At 4 am a dog started yapping and crying for 20 minutes or more. The phone the room is there for looks and does not work. I called using my phone. This room is a handicap room. The floor in the bathroom was wet from the shower. Once I took a shower the water came out all the way to the entrance of the room. I almost slipped. Hilton garden inn orange beach Al.|My husband and I decided to do a beach getaway for Christmas and chose this hotel.|We have stayed at numerous Hilton Garden Hotels and they always exceeded our expectations however this WAS NOT THE CASE HERE!!! Upon entering our room it had a very musty smell and definitely had not just been cleaned and freshened up. Thank goodness I travel with cleaning supplies and Lysol so I cleaned all surfaces and light switches! The beds were Terrible and definitely need to be replaced!!|The carpet has definitely seen its better days and needs to be replaced with new flooring!!! |The BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS TERRIBLE FOR THE PRICE AS WELL!!!! This room is sub standard. It is without warmth, style, welcoming feel. No pictures. No note pad. Furniture is OLD and some damaged. Unacceptable. It’s rundown and so disappointing . If I had not prepaid, I’d be gone. What is up Hilton? This feels like a one star room.

Love the place. Breakfast was great. Right on the beach ⛱️ great place to just get away and hit the beach. Staff is amazing 👏 The guy at night, I believe his name is Matt, is awesome. Veronica is an amazing person who went above and beyond. All around 5 stars
