Best Western Premier The Tides

We stayed for 6 nights, and I can honestly say that the location was nothing short of fantastic—breathtaking views! Rarely do I find myself compelled to praise staff in reviews because most places are consistently good. But this time, the staff truly made this experience extraordinary. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine care went beyond anything I’ve encountered at most hotels. Beka at the front desk and Helden, the bartender on the lobby level (whose name I hope I’ve spelled right), didn’t just serve us—they made us feel seen, valued, and truly special. Their passion for making us happy was palpable, and their attentiveness was spot on. This hotel actually surprised us. I personally feel the online pics didnt do it justice. The hotel was very clean and modern. We had a really good experience. The hotel is located beachfront but close to shopping and restaurants. The hotel is family friendly and value oriented. But...be aware breakfast is at an additional cost of around $14 per person per day. Also, there is no in-room coffee. There is an onsite coffee shop though. Parking is also an additional fee of around $8 per day. Just keep these fees in mind when budgeting your room rate. Breakfast was really good and has a great waterfront view. Overall this location surpassed our expectations.

This is my 2nd day at the hotel and it’s awesome from all aspects. Location, food places and awesome service. Shout out to Kara at the Lobby for helping us with the bookings -I messed up the rooms, but she took care of it last min and gave us the room we liked. That to me is awesome service. Highly recommended and they sell out fast.

The hotel itself was wonderful. Great location. Everyone was great. The only thing that we did not like was the bed. It was like sleeping on the floor. I mentioned it to the front desk and they said everyone complained about them. You would think they would do something to make sure your experience is the best.

Positive: Great pool area. Room nice but mattress was hard and shower door was hard to pull open/close. I like this hotel but the pier kind of ruins it. Must get the breakfast and Blueberry Muffins best I’ve had. Negative: The hotel next door has a private pier that extends out over a public land, the 24/7 pier lights attracts bugs that bite at the beach. Also concern with all the fishing off the pier having fish hooks and fishermans bait attracted sharks and jellyfish.
