Hilton Garden Inn Kent Island Marina

While traveling for business stayed one night. Decent size parking lot easily accessible with no charge to park. Very clean very modern hotel. My room was very clean comfortable extremely spacious. Had a refrigerator microwave and a large desk facing out toward the balcony overlooking the bay. Staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. The bar and mini restaurant was closed and as per the staff, it’s been closed since before last Christmas. This is one of the reasons why I pick a Hilton garden in is the luxury of not having to go out for a quick meal so that was very disappointing. Checkout was seamless. Breakfast was very good.

We were in town to tour a local guitar factory and were thrilled with the location of this hotel. The view of the marina was so beautiful and there are many places to walk to get a drink or something to eat. Lobby offered free coffee which was a nice surprise and there is also a Keurig in the room. We saw many people with dogs in the hotel and they seemed to be very welcome. Room was comfortable with a nice sized balcony and comfortable beds. No issues with noise. Staff was not super helpful or friendly but were just "okay". Pool was closed on our visit. We would definitely return.

Positive: The location Negative: Had to request everything. We stayed two nights and I had no lotion in the bathroom ,no restock on coffee, my remote had to be replaced, this took two request to get replaced. I felt the help was very nervous when I approached them. I paid for a suite

I chose the Garden Inn Kent Island because I’ve passed it many times and thought it looked like a nice place to stay. I finally had the opportunity and took it. I should have read the reviews more carefully. The rooms are clean and comfortable. As a Diamond member, I received an “upgrade” to a suite overlooking the bay—lucky me! Unfortunately, that meant the southwest corner directly facing The Jetty Restaurant, which has live bands on weekends. I didn’t know this when booking or checking in. Check-in was slow, even though I had checked in online. The staff member seemed either brand new or completely over it. When I asked about the restaurant'ssse hours, he said the chef probably didn’t show up. He was right—no food service that night. Later, the live music started. I called the front

Lots of item falsely advertised. The restaurant and bar have been closed for months. The pool area is very worn and not warm at all. There was only one poor worker up front doing everything, so the wait time was always extended. Just no flare like the pictures. The bathroom was cracking and paint bubbled everywhere. No fireplace turned on, nothing. But they took my money with no problems. Looks like poor management.
