Best Western Kent Narrows Inn

Checked into this hotel/motel finding out the pool is next to front desk and you have to walk out side to get to it! So the pool we were so looking forward to was a no go! Got to room and keys didnt work! Walked back and find out he didn't check us in! He had one job, failed at it! Then he needed a credit card for insidentals, there are no puchaseable items they would need a charge card for! So we all know the after charges are coming. So the room, seemingly clean. Beds made normally. Then slight discoloring of the ceiling, mold. No discernible oder. The bathroom fixtures seemed fine although the toilet was so old it had a flush button on top with just one selection! The wall the light switch was on seemed to be melting from water intrusion through the switch opening. Another plate above i

Positive: the value of the hotel for the area and it was nice. beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, staff was friendly Negative: its a little dated on the outside but nothing that would deter me from staying there

We came here for a sudden pet emergency. The hotel was super nice about our dog and chose a room to specifically accommodate us. ** The rate we paid with the pet fee was $170 and the second night out beast was at the vet, so without the dog we paid $120. It was the best price in the area. The place was super clean and they get the TCM channel so I had everything I need. BUT they also had a very clean and well maintained sauna and swimming pool, so we were able to relax even though we were there for stressful reasons. There was a beautiful greenway for walking or jogging nearby, and I’m not even kidding you- even the breakfast was good. We definitely plan on coming back when we are ready for a real vacation with our beast.

The check in was very easy. The room was clean and towels well stocked. I would say it’s a bit pricey for staying just one night. We had to get a room with a king size bed because all the queen size bed rooms were no longer available and it cost 428.00 for one night.

The building needs paint and a bit of spiffing up. They offer breakfast. a cold swimming pool, a hot tin, a sauna that needs 45 minutes to heat up, breakfast and coffee in the lobby…|Bad review for fact that they do NOT offer daily room service- not even a towel change unless you contact the front desk before 7:00AM. |It is a hike to the elevator- one elevator for the building. |We requested a view and got the highway.|Soap container in bathroom was empty.|Killed a roach.|Flooring needed caulk and some of the pieces of vinyl were coming loose.|Nice location and that was why we selected this hotel for 3 nights
