Hilton Garden Inn Allentown West

Would highly recommend this hotel. |Not far from the highway. Staff friendly. Facility very clean. Room very clean. Hotel smelled fine, no bad odors.||Room pictured is a king standard. Offers microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker with pods provided (cups, sugar, and cream provided). |Lots of space to put clothes.|Iron and ironing board in great shape.||I did not eat breakfast there so I cannot speak to that. Breakfast is $15 per person. |There are restaurants and fast food locations within walking distance, but across the street.

It was good except for the fact that my security deposit still hasn't gone on. When I go to other locations it's usually back on right after I check out. I was really depending on this to put gas in. My car is my mom is in the hospital right now and I might even have to come back. I will update this review once my security deposit goes back on. As I'm not thrilled that I had to go into my savings to put gas in my car. So I finally got both of my security deposits back. I'm not a fan of the fact that it takes about a day to go back on when I've stayed at other Hilton branded hotels and it usually goes back on right after I check out. But the staff was nice. Positive: "" Negative: The staff were not friendly at all. The posting said they are pet friendly, which they are for an additional $75 per night. That info should be posted so it's not a surprise when you check in. If you want breakfast there at the hotel it'll cost you $16.99

My boyfriend and I planned a skiing trip to Blue Mountain and the only thing we wanted from a hotel was to be able to go in the hot tub afterwards. After looking at other reviews of the hot tub being closed, we decided to call the night before we were checking into the hotel to see if the hot tub was open. The person at the front desk said it was open so we booked the room. After checking in and putting our stuff down we headed down to the hot tub only to discover that there were no towels. We headed to the front desk to get more towels only to come back to the hot tub and see that it was closed. Not only was it closed but the hot tub water was filthy and looked like it hadn't been up and running for months. We decided to go in the pool but after looking at the amount of dirt floating in t

The staff is five star, always super helpful and accommodating. The overall rating is for the hotel itself. The rooms are in desperate need of an update, and good luck if you’re in a room near the elevator, especially on the first floor. The walls are paper thin and you’ll hear the noise from the elevator and people congregating, and the elevator machine room sounds like an amusement park ride, it’s so loud. Bring earplugs to be safe. The Hilton perks are a joke at this point too, diamonds get a $10 F&B credit for a $17 breakfast. You’re better off taking the points and spending $17 for breakfast at the diner across the street. Also, none of the cardio equipment in the gym were working.
