Hillside Inn

The property was not hygienic. We really wanted to make the best of it because the location is perfect and has good amenities, but we almost asked for a full refund and went elsewhere… the first room they gave us had literally not been cleaned at all. Dirty sheets, dirty toilet etc. We went to management and changed rooms. The other room was better, but still not clean. There are no duvets/covers on the comforters - and they are NOT washed in between guests. We had makeup smears on our pillows and two dirty towels in our room. Our bathroom fan and one of our beds was broken and the fan was incredibly loud. The manager said he struggles with his house cleaners because they are chronically short staffed in Pagosa and if you give any criticism they just quit. Breakfast was decent. No warm fo

Standard 3 star hotel. Nice a clean with fresh rooms. Used to be part oa a chain, now privately owned with frindly services. A basic continental breakfast is offered. Pool and hot tob are onsite. Better value than motels in town. Short drive to restaurants.

Positive: Quick no incidental fee. Negative: The beds are super old rooms need a facelift. Smelts very musty in the room that we stayed in. Temp was either way hot ot way cold fan stayed on no matter what. Very basic but need renovation or at the very least new comfy beds.

This hotel is one of the best hotels in pagosa that I have stayed in hands down. The staff is friendly and helpful , the rooms are nice comfortable and up to date and the pool is a great size with the hot tub. It's located super close to a 24/7 convenient store within walking distance as well as a liquor store a bank and restaurants.

Ahhhhh! The Hillside Inn! It’s right off the main rd so I don’t get lost when I leave if I need to go anywhere; store, Lq, restaurant… which btw are near by. . The gentleman that greeted me , I think his name is Paul was super helpful from the start. He made my entire stay so much better for me. I just felt like a home away from home feeling. I was so stressed from being in a car traveling but Paul made sure that I was effortlessly booked, checked in and able to relax in no time. This is definitely my go too next time I’m in the area.. traveling tip: if you want to know where all the local hotspots are ask Paul !!! Super informative and helpful !!! Happy holidays, Hillside Inn
