Hillcrest Inn Resort

This place is fine, albiet bare bones and antiquated. Room was clean. Bring your own soap for the shower bc it's not provided. No coffee even for one night, so bring that as well. The location is a bit out of town, but very quiet and close to perkins cove.

This is an older structure (c 1911) that was renovated about 20+ years ago. The location is good for walking to Perkins Cove , but too far for most people to walk to downtown Ogunquit. Be aware that parking in downtown Ogunquit (when you drive there) is limited and expensive. This is a nice older place, but not a resort. There are no amenities, except some outdoor patios and a grill. The furniture is older and “tired”. There is no guest laundry facility on premises, which is an inconvenience, especially if you want to wash beach towels, etc. The availability of hot water for showering was unpredictable; some days there was hot water, sometimes not. The manager (receptionist) was abrupt and not particularly helpful; she seemed to not want to be bothered by people that were not “ her owners”

Fabulous! Great service, great room, great location. Don't pass up on the chance to run/walk on Ogunquit Beach, It's about a 1.5 miles from the hotel. This property doesn't have any resort-type amenities, but the rooms are VERY nice - think B&B or Baroque-style hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for someone visiting this quiet, quaint little resort town.

I stayed at the Hillcrest Inn when it was a hotel both as a child and much later on my wedding night. We stayed at the time share resort a few weeks ago and a few other times in the past decade. The cost is reasonable, our apartment was clean, quiet and recently updated. Our balcony had an ocean view. It’s a few minutes walk to Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way. And the art museum is across the street.

Place was well maintained and clean. During times like these it was nice to see housekeeping always sanitizing. Tracy in the office was helpful in navigating us around the local area. We also had a plumbing issue at night and she sent someone over immediately. There are lots of stairs but there is a chairlift.
