Hickory Inn

Great place. Owner is a great guy. Summer time pool for the neighborhood is water tested and painted each year. Rooms are decently sized. Cable tv. Free wifi. Small fridge and a Microwave. Some have stoves depending on the size of the room. Neighborhood is friendly. Laundry room. RV park with public showers/bathrooms. All around satisfied with my stay. Can't complain.

I called a few days ago and a lady answered I was interested in talking to her about weekly prices she told me that there was also another lower price if you signed a six-month contract. A gentleman was there tonight he claimed to be the manager and was told me that he only accept cash he will not take a credit card I've never known a hotel could not take a credit card. For not being told about having cash and only taking cash I rate this one star.

The room is very dirty nothing seemed to be cleaned there is dirt under the bed sheets and pillow cases was stained. When I first walked in I smelt cigarette smoke open the end table by the bed just to find ashes from a cigarette and a cigarette butt the shower was gross had hair in it the floor hasn't been cleaned the microwave and mini fridge was dirty the ice container was dirty. There was not enough towels they was bugs. This is one of the far worst hotels. If I could I wouldn't even give this a place an one star rating. Please save yourself and don't stay here.

One of, if not the most, ghetto place in Grove... cops are always being called and normally for good reason too... And in my opinion they're WAY too overpriced... But I hear they're remodeling the apartments (that rumor says blew up a month or so ago due to a meth lab explosion) into 2 story monthly rentals and i also hear they're gonna be super nice and actually affordable! Who knows, maybe I'll be changing my review once they complete these so we'll see!

We had three grownups and one infant we asked for towels they only ogaveus two big and otwo wash clothes . And nothing to put on the floor. They had bedbugs.and they didn't open the office till maybe 11:00 on a Sunday. They had now coffee or breakfast. I will not be staying there AGAIN
