Hercules Inn

I used to live in Wallace Idaho and I know the town well. I've stayed in three other hotels there, and there're all fine, but the historic Hercules is a step above. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and decorated with taste and nuance (TNT boxes salvaged from the area mines used for table stands!); the kitchenette is fabulous and well provisioned. Jamie & Barbra have done everything to make your stay here a great one. I believe all the suites are laid out the same; they are very comfortable for a couple but would also be adequate for a family of 4 or perhaps even more. You're close to the community garden and the Victorian homes, and historic downtown Wallace & the Pulaski Tunnel trail are only a short drive away (actually, you can easily walk to downtown from here). This has been our 2nd time staying at the Inn and needless to say we will be back. The accommodation are perfect for a small family or for just for two people, like us. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything one would need to cook meal and the king beds are AMAZING! Jamie and Barbara are wonderful couple who make you feel like you are at home.

Although unassuming from the outside, Hercules has very clean and nicely appointed rooms. With an extra full bed in the living room, you have space for kids or another couple. Not sure if they're pet friendly. Within walking distance of historic Wallace.

Owners are awesome and accomidating. Comfortable, quiet, and Rooms are an actual apartment. There's a hottub outside. Also they have a coin op washer and dryer right there. Kitchen has everything you might need to cook a full meal or bake something. Lots of little extras provided like coffee, cream and sugar, extra blankets if you are cold, laundry soap. Feels like stopping and staying with family rather than renting a room.

Loved our stay here! Great value for the price. Super clean and well appointed 1 bedroom units with an extra bed in the living room. Both beds were very comfortable. Large kitchen. Better than a hotel or Airbnb. We will definitely stay here again.
