Hearthstone Inn

Room was decent. Little cramped but fine. Clean. Couple little things like some floor mouldings with screws that stick out but better then several other, more expensive places. And about 3 minutes from the beach

Our family of four stayed at the Hearthstone room #24 for a few nights. ||||We loved the cedar wood accents throughout the room and bathroom. The bathroom smelled like a sauna! The skylights in the main room and bathroom are a nice touch as well, letting in plenty of sunlight. ||||Our complaints were minor. The kitchen area is a little tight on space and a few of the blinds could be replaced. Also there was a minor musty smell when we came back to the room after a warm day. We were unable to open the windows to get some fresh air into the room so we propped open the door. The wifi connection is pretty slow as well but we didn't mind. ||||The ceiling fan helped keep the room cool throughout the day and night. ||||The beach access is a 2 minute walk from the room which was extremely convenie

Positive: Close to the beach, very central so you are close to restaurants as well. Nice stonework on the fireplace and the outside is charming and inviting. The bed was comfortable and the vaulted ceiling was very nice. Negative: The room was very small, less than 1 foot between the wall and the bed. The couch was old and very uncomfortable to sit on. The bathroom was also very small and cramped. The toilet was tiny and no space between it and the sink, you did not have any room to dry off when getting out of the shower. Unfortunately it was not really a comfortable or relaxing place to stay, but we will just stay at a different location the next time we are in town that suits us a bit better. We had a great trip and enjoyed our time in Cannon Beach.

Wow! I stayed at the hearthstone inn in number 26 for my birthday. Check in was super stress free and easy. The Room was surprisingly cozy the second we walked in. It has a dark cabin feel, vaulted ceilings, skylights, and a real wood burning fire place with a Duraflame log provided. The room had everything we needed to feel right at home. Our plan originally was to walk to town and have cocktails to celebrate, but instead we stayed in for a nice fireside dinner for two. The full kitchen was a nice touch and made me want to cook breakfast instead of going out.
