Hatchet Resort

Stayed in a standard room and it was perfect for the group of 4 of us. Beds where nice, room was clean. No AC but it was still cooler temp in June. Not in a busy area. We did see a mama bear with her two cubs 30 min after arriving. Perfect if you are visiting the Tetons and Yellowstone. Conveniently has breakfast, lunch, and dinner served on the property. Close to a gas station. Kid friendly (has a park). I would stay again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at The Hatchet Resort. We stayed in a 'standard room' at found it to be clean, quiet, nicely decorated and comfortable for two people. We really liked the shower and those amenities. The location of the resort was very easy to find and perfect for all that we needed...Close to the Grand Tetons, 40-ish minutes from Jackson and as close to Yellowstone as you can get without staying in the park. There really aren't any other restaurants in the area so we ate all of or meals here too-- and they were all very good! ..They will even make sack lunches for you to take during the day if you ask..They have a gas station on-site which we found very helpful.| |I took away one star because after having spent three days here and eating every meal here too we wanted to lea

Positive: Location and scenery Negative: Not enough electrical outlets

The atmosphere of the Hatchett Resort is perfect. They don’t miss a trick, between the houndstooth blankets and the Hatchett logo burned into the tables in the 2 restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and cozy and roomy. The staff is friendly and competent. The Hatchett is close to the Grand Tetons but still remote enough to make the stay relaxing. We are so glad that we spent our time in the Grand Tetons at the Hatchett.

Just day enough away to be out in the middle of no where but also not to far of a drive from Jackson or Yellowstone. Perfect spot, great service, amazing rooms. Anytime we're back, we'll book here EVERY time. The suite was GREAT!
