Hastings Inn

Do NOT get a room here !!! They have an scabies infestation here and have not done anything about it !!! My family came to visit and left with scabies and several people in town that stay there because of homeless have also gotten them. The owners are well aware and there is a current court suit going on and yet they still don't do anything above washing. Pay little more and get a better room you won't like what this place has to offer !!

Hastings Inn is an old school motel, but in a good way. My room had older furniture, lamps, bathroom tile...but everything was in great condition. It was a blast from the past!! I love these types of motels. Even the door key had the plastic Keychain. I was VERY clean. The shower was hot, the bed was comfortable, the TV had been upgraded to a nice size flat screen. This will be my new place to stay when traveling through Hastings.

I have a question if they have staff who speak Spanish to recommend relatives who like to sleep one night at the hotel in passing.

Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Had no problems checking in. It's an old motel that hasn't been updated this century. It looks old and smells old. Beds are older mattresses with pillows are firm and flat. The rooms have a dorm fridge and microwave. The furniture, bedding and decor are definitely outdated. Bathroom has old tiles and a loud vent. Shower had ok pressure. Carpeting is thin and wrinkled. The heat A/C worked nice, wasn't super loud. Just don't have high expectations if you stay here, I didn't so I wasn't surprised by the condition of the rooms. I gave it an average score for its class which would be low.
