Harkey House Bed & Breakfast

We had an excellent stay at the Harley House! We chose to make a reservation here because it was recommended by West Coast Falconry, and even though our experience there was postponed a couple of times due to weather, Lee was very flexible about changing our accommodations at no additional cost. She and Bob were just as friendly in person as they were via email, greeting us upon arrival and showing us around the home. We stayed in the cottage, which was spacious, clean and quiet. Plenty of parking immediately in front of the house, and lots of good restaurants just a few minutes away. We would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area again.

I highly recommend the Harkey House for its location, cleanliness, amenities, privacy, delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. I stayed in The Cottage which is separate from the house near the pool. It came equipped with everything one might need for an extended stay, was spotless, private, and quiet. The adjacent patio is spacious, containing a lovely garden and plenty of comfortable seating for visiting with friends and family. The breakfast served in the charming dining area was incredible: scones, coffee, eggs, sausage, potatoes, and fruit. Bob and Lee are wonderful hosts! They anticipated our needs and made us feel very welcome.

I just stayed New Year’s Eve and NewYear’sDay at the lovely Historic Harkey House B&B in Yuba City. I have been staying there for over forty years when I come to the Yuba Sutter Area.I love this charming 150 year old B&B for its delicious breakfast, comfort, and beauty. It's hard to imagine staying anywhere better. Harkey House is over 150 years old and has all the accommodations you could want while respecting its historic integrity. Bob and Lee are phenomenal hosts. Courteous, communicative, knowledgeable, and just plain good people. Stay at Harkey House! You can't beat the history, the comfort, and the kindness of real, genuine people.

Excellent spot in a quiet prime location. We enjoyed the pool and historic neighborhood while we were in town for birding and a trip to West Coast Falconry. Bob and Lee are a delight, it was nice to feel like we had friends in a new city.
