Hardys Spring River Lodge

It's just ok. Desk lady was nice enough. Room was fair. Cleaning person left candy and wrappers in the drawers. Beds have mattress pads to make them very soft. 1 bed was on an angle and felt like you were falling off of it! Ok if you've been driving too long and need to sleep... if you can sleep. Morning "breakfast" is super strong coffee, milk, juice and a toaster with no bread

After so many positive reviews about how clean this motel is, I was disappointed. Our family had two adjoining rooms; both rooms had hairs in the tub and in one of the beds. |Other than that it was a good stay. The motel was comfortable and quiet. The pool was clean, it ranges from 3'-5' deep and kept the kids happy.They had some pool toys although we always bring our own too. Breakfast was adequate. Check in was quick. Every interaction with staff we had was a positive one, all the employees were friendly and attentive. The location is good; easy on/off the highway and near several restaurants.

Terrible night. Paper thin walls. Smoke smell. The people next to us were noisy all night keeping us up. We finally called and told the desk. She checked on the people next to us and called back. She laughed at my mother, and told her the people next door said they just woke up. She believed them and told us we were lying because the people next door had been there multiple nights. (I guess that means they must be honest, and us, liars.) TERRIBLE SERVICE. I never write reviews like this, but I’ll make an exception in this case.

Filthy, smelly room. Spider webs on inside of window and above window with dead insects caught in them. Carpet and curtains smelled horrible, had to use a lot of Lysol. Beds were like trying to sleep on an air mattress. Just not a good experience at all. Beware!

One of only a few hotels in this area. Queen room with jacuzzi was nice. Indoor pool was enjoyable. Bed was pretty awful...way too soft and fitted sheet wouldn't stay on, pillows sorta pewny. Continental breakfast was decent. Loved the pancake maker.
